During the casting for the original Star Wars trilogy, George Lucas auditioned a lot of different creatures for the part of C3PO's companion before settling on R2D2... The runner-up was much cuter and softer, but not quite as proficient at fixing space ships.

A little Sunday silliness

Okay, so this is pretty ridiculous, but I like it anyway.  Some dude voices over a little wild bunny/squirrel interaction... cute.  (my favorite part is when the little bun voice says, "meanie!")  :P

Weekend romp with the little buns!

Check out this awesome video capture of a mother wild rabbit and her babies hopping around... so sweet!!  And I especially love the first part of the clip, with the mom super-efficiently eating an entire dandelion (first the puff, then the stem)  :D 

What better way to start the weekend...

than with a pile of huddled sleepy little wild bunny rabbits??!  ohh my goodness, sooo adorable!!
