Bunny Floor Manager: "Oh, hi! Welcome to the Bunny Bag Factory! We work very hard to deliver fun-filled goody bags to buns everywhere! I'm just getting together all the necessary items here for one of our signature bags, but I'm not the only bunny working hard! We have a top-notch team of highly-trained bag inspectors who are committed to ensuring the highest level of quality..."
Bunspector #1: [Yelling from inside the bag] "HEY FLOPSY, I GOT A BIG PROBLEM HEAH - NO TOYS! I NEED A CHEWY STAH AND JINGLE BALL, STAT!"
Bunspector #2: "Num num num num num... OH!! Uh, hi Boss! *gulp!* Well, um, this bag tastes just -- I MEAN, looks! It looks just fine! Yyyuup, all ready to go here..."
Bunny Floor Manager: "And once all the bags are filled and tied up, they are boxed and inspected one last time before shipping, by our Senior Bunspector."
Then the bags are on their way to good little bunnies everywhere!
However, there is ONE more crucial step to our quality-assurance process, which happens upon arrival of the bags at their destinations. Once off the truck, each bag is subjected to the FINAL test, administered by the High Chieftress of Worthiness...
High Chieftress of Worthiness: [nibbles a bit, turns her head...]
"I DISAPPROVE!!"
Bunny Floor Manager: *sigh.* "Unfortunately, a lot of the bags get disapproved. We might need a new High Chieftress... also, it may just be rumor, but supposedly a lot of the 'disapproved' bags have gone missing under her watch... seems a little fuzzy to me..."
Okay, so the real story behind these adorable photos is that apparently every holiday season (in December), the awesome volunteers at the Rabbit Haven in California prepare hundreds of gift bags (with toys and treats!) for all of the bunnies in shelters in the Bay Area! So... these are some of the very lucky recipients (and one actual quality inspector - Freckles, in the fourth photo ;) ) of the past couple of holiday seasons... such a wonderful idea! :) You can read more about the Rabbit Haven and their volunteers' awesome bag delivery here - way to go guys, sooo many bunnies must have had a very merry holiday because of all of you! :D
Thank you, Ray, for all the great photos! :)
