"Oh, hi.  I'm gonna go practice my dance routine, okay?  I'll be done by dinnertime though.  K, later..."
[Hops off...]

[Music starts, slowly and quietly]
[Bun strikes a pose, moves slowly with the opening music, until... the music gets louder and louder and faster, and..!!]

[CRAZY SPASTIC BREAKDANCING MOVES!!!]

[WHIRLING AROUND, SHE'S A MANIAC, WAAAAH!!]

*CRASH!!*  *THUD!*  *SHATTER!*

*scamper!*
"Uhhh... Doo-do-doo, nothing to see here...!"  [hops off quickly]

At dinner:
"Mmmm... *munch munch*  Oh, uh, that mess?  It's not so bad -- I mean, um -- that's bizarre... I can't imagine who ever could have done that, can you?  ...Elves, maybe??  ...*crunch munch*  Oh, my dance routine?  Yup, that went fine, just fine... *crunch*..."

:P  Thanks, Christian, for the awesome photos of Pepper!  She looks like quite the entertaining roommate.  :)   And I'm pretty sure she's got some serious moves.  Serious.
