EEE, such cute binkying. <3 how he seems intimidated by the thought of jumping off the bed, then goes to explore the other side and gets so excited : D
Very funny, had to watch it a couple of times. Dwarf lionheads are adorable.
"Oh, suuure, she didn't get an ear lift... and I'm the Easter Bunny..."
Haha :D Suspicious Bunny is Suspicious! :P
This is Caliope (hehe, cute ;) ), and she's up for adoption with the Santee Rabbit Shelter in Southern California! You can find out more about her, and about the shelter, here on the Cats and Rabbits and More site! :)
Awww :D hehe, I love how baby buns form these little snuggly bunches so it's like Extreme Concentration of Cute!! :P Which is ALWAYS a good thing.
These babies are currently the Bunnies of the Month at the Best Little Rabbit, Rodent, and Ferret House (aka BLRRFH - haha, try saying that :D good times...) of Seattle and Redmond, Washington! The babies were dropped off at the Seattle Animal Shelter, and then rescued by BLRRFH to make sure they would find homes. You can find out more about these tiny bunlets, and BLRRFH on their site here!
Good luck, little buns... hope you're all adopted soon. ;)
"What's that? I'm adopted?! ...AND I'm the Daily Bunny official in-house bunny now?! So... overwhelming...!" *whump!* [faints from excitement]
...Soooo, you've probably been wondering, Who's the bunny behind Daily Bunny?? Well, here's the deep, dark truth:
Before January of this year, we didn't live with one!! (*GASP!* I know, I know...) We were just big bunny fans but we hadn't yet been adopted... well, then there was the Fateful Post of January 7, 2008... Remember super-artsy bun Confucius?? It turns out poor Confucius was getting nervously close to having been at a city shelter in Los Angeles for "too long"... the good people at RabbitMatch.org (a small group of dedicated bunny lovers who work to find matches for the bunnies in the local shelter) sent us an email after we posted his photos, and said they had been trying very, very hard to find him a person, but were running out of time.
Well, we called our LA friends but no one could take him... and one of us just so happened to be travelling to LA for a conference in a couple weeks, sooo... you can guess what happened! :)
Thanks to the folks at RabbitMatch, a couple weeks later, Confucius was soon on a plane to Boston and to his new home!
This is him enjoying his nightly salad (and making a mess) :)
So... that's the happy ending/beginning!! Confucius has really settled in over the past few months, and is having quite a good time taking over the house! Nothing is quite as fun as watching him do crazy jumps!! (he is reaching new heights by the day... we'll have to take video ;) ) Living with a bunny is every bit as fun as we expected :) and we'll post more pictures soon!! (You'll have to excuse the procrastination on his post... sorry bout that, Confucius!! We're just slow :P )
And a very, very special thanks to Alinda, Lisa, Becky, Inge, and Dina of RabbitMatch (RabbitMatch.org), for looking out for Confucius for so long! Bunny snuggles to all of you! :)
...p.s. And yes, someday soon we'll fix our "About" page to have a little more about us Daily Bunny people, as well. ;)
Awww, look at this little face!! The eyes!! :D Okay, baby bun, you can have whatever you want! ;)
This lil' fuzzface is Pumpkin, a gorgeous baby bun rescued after being left in a hutch to die >>:( (Who would leave this face??! I never get it...)
But a neighbor found him and he was lucky enough to make it to the Colorado House Rabbit Society, where he's being taken care of (okay, totally spoiled, apparently ;) ), and is adoptable! You can read more about him here... and here's a new 'older' photo of him - awww, still so handsome!! :D
"Um, we're in the middle of planning our takeover of the house... do you think you could come back later? K,thanks."
Hmmm... looks like trouble! :) This is Liberty and Just, two very stately-named buns available for adoption with the Missouri House Rabbit Society in St. Louis! You can read more about them, and see a couple more cute photos on their Petfinder page here. Good luck with your takeover of a new house, buns! ;)
