Hoppy Thanksgiving 2009!!

Hoppy Thanksgiving, everyone (in the U.S.A.)!  I hope you had a relaxing, fun day with family and friends and food :) 

This is Copper, a little bun who caused quite a stir up in the state of Washington!  The short story: he was new to the Humane Society in Tacoma, WA, and had a nervous moment in which he gave a bad bite to a volunteer... that coupled with a brief bout of sickness put him up front on the euthanasia list, until some animal lovers (from all over the world!) heard about it, and rallied to save him! 

Wonderfully, the Rabbit Haven of Gig Harbor, WA, stepped up and offered to take in little Copper to their sanctuary.  Today, he is doing well and has been thanking his rescuers with purrs of approval.  :D  To see some other adorable photos (including him happily in the arms of a RH volunteer -- awwww) and read all about his story, check out the Rabbit Haven's website here!   (Thanks, Tamara, for the great story!)  :)

Today, Daily Bunny would like to give thanks for all of the generous, loving animal advocates out there who are always looking out for the fluffies!  Purrs -- and pie! -- to all of you ;)
