Bunny: *nom-nom-nom-nom-nom!!* "Wow, this is the BEST salad Mom has ever made for me!! Is it my birthday or something?? I guess I probably should have left it where I found it, so she could surprise me with it, but oh well..."
[Voice from the kitchen] "Kids?? Has anyone seen that ambrosia salad I made for the potluck tonight?? I thought I left it right here..."

:) Thanks, Sharon, for the photo of your gorgeous little Nutmeg! Nutmeg's rescue story is a pretty amazing one, so I have to share. Says Sharon:
"When a friend told me he saw the weirdest white wild rabbit I knew a rescue was needed. I found this tiny Netherland Dwarf in a field, near death with hawks circling overhead, apparently dumped as so many pet rabbits are when people realize it's hard work to have these intelligent and curious creatures as a pet. After a visit to the vet and removal of over 300 ticks, Nutmeg is now a happy house rabbit, fully boxtrained and full of mischief and love. Someone's ignorant act of cruelty was truly my fortune, as Nutmeg is a wonderful pet, and even gets along with my rescued Maltese!"
Wow, what a lucky bunny!! Bunny purrs to you, Sharon, Nutmeg must be sooo happy to be with you now! Yay for happy endings :D

OMG. I love people like Sharon.

Yay yay yay!! That's my sweet Nutmeg!! So vocal and opinionated...and so full of love and bunny kisses. Bunny kisses are the best. I've had three other rabbits, all of which were rescues, but now I balance my time between Nutty and Abby, the rescued Maltese. Thanks so much for your kind words and compliments!! I so love this site! :)

I think it is so cool that a friend of yours told you about the bunny.
YOU knew this was not a wild bunny.
You cared enough to go find her and it sounds like it was just in the nick of time. Thank you for that.
p.s.
I agree with Rabbits' Guy!
