:) This adorable couple is Gracie and Albert, two lovebuns up for adoption with the Sweetpea Foundation Rabbit Rescue in Whittier, CA. When she was younger, Gracie was attacked by raccoons and lost both her eyes :( but since she met Albert, he has watched out for her and helped her get around. :) (Also, she's a bunny, so her hearing and sniffing are still top-notch of course!) I know of two blind bunnies who have "seeing-eye" companions, and it's great to watch them guarding their little buddies! I know I had to be thoroughly sniffed over before being permitted to pet.
One was a blind and deaf head-tilted rescue who has totally come out of his shell since his feisty little Netherland Dwarf buddy came along.
