This is Bigwig (luv that name!). He is a rabbit with a very inspirational story. After being abandoned as a baby :_( he was adopted by a nurse at a local veterinary. Bigwig, shy at first, eventually came out of his shell and is the apple of his Mom's eye. He's also a champion of sorts. Big Wig, a sable-lion head cross rabbit, won both the Best Adult Pet Rabbit and Best Overall in Show at the Haigh Show in the UK.
When life gave Bigwig lemons he didn't stop at making lemonade. He used the lemon peel to add zest to a whole slew of confectionery and then used the seeds to create lemon grove. Way to go bunny! Read more about Bigwig from his local paper: Wigan Today.
bigwig is the name of one of the main rabbit characters in the classic book by Richard Adams, "Watership Down".
