As a first-time party host, Monty aimed to go all out. He knew that a good host should have comfortable seating and themed decorations, so turned his living room into a mini arena. He knew that a variety of easy-to-pick-up, tasty (and preferably crunchy) snacks were important to making the guests happy, so he went shopping and stocked up. He knew that you were not supposed to eat all of the food before the guests arrived.
Monty did not care all that much about that last thing.
