That's all I could imagine this little guy saying after he heard that the American Pygmy Rabbit won't get endangered species protection even though its sagebrush habitat in the Western US is under attack from ranchers and energy exploration and development activities.  Read more about it in Scientific American's article.

Uh, Little Help Here?

Oh, you're so adorable little bun!  Don't worry I will protect you!

        

This little guy is a pygmy rabbit.  They're the smallest (and therefor the cutest?) rabbits in North America and they should be listed as endangered by the US fish and wildlife department but for some reason they're sitting on their hands and haven't made a decision yet :(   Read all about it via KOMO News.  Hope these little fellas get the protection they need!

He looks just like he's limbering up for a black diamond trail.  And, hee, his snow shoes...err skis are so big.   How adorable would a ski slope full of bunnies be?  :)
